Bugle is an iOS app that turns calendar meetings into real alarms. These terms cover your use of the app and its sync service.
Bugle reads the calendars you choose on your iPhone and schedules system alarms ahead of your meetings. Optionally, it connects to your Google Calendar so that the sync service can tell your phone when a meeting moves while the app is closed.
Bugle is a helpful tool, not a guarantee. Alarms depend on iOS, on Apple's push infrastructure, on Google's notification service, and on your device being powered on and able to reach the network. Any of these can fail or be delayed for reasons outside our control.
Do not rely on Bugle alone for anything where missing an event would cause you serious harm or loss. Keep your own safeguards for critical commitments.
Bugle includes a free trial covering a fixed number of alerted events, after which continued use requires a purchase. Purchases are processed by Apple through the App Store, are subject to Apple's terms, and refunds are handled by Apple. Prices are shown in the app before purchase.
If you connect Google Calendar, you authorise Bugle to read the event timing fields described in our Privacy Policy, for the sole purpose of keeping your alarms correct. You may disconnect at any time in the app's settings or from your Google Account permissions page.
We may update, suspend, or discontinue parts of the service, including the sync backend. Where a change materially reduces what you paid for, we will say so in the app in advance.
Bugle is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind to the fullest extent permitted by law. We are not liable for missed meetings, missed appointments, or any indirect, incidental, or consequential losses arising from use of, or inability to use, the app. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, without affecting any mandatory consumer protections available to you where you live.
